چکیده
Heterosis is an effective way to increase yield and improve quality in alfalfa breeding. The key issue for efficiently use of heterosis identify parents having potential producing hybrid combinations with higher performance. This study aimed analyze genetic distance between the 48 accessions, combine different combinations. results showed that mating ability combination which both are tetraploid greater than diploid or parental ploidy. When ploidy levels parents, as female parent better parent. he a male more Moreover, CYK2xHH10 high CYK4xHH10 relative seed setting rate should be possible breed yielding hybrid, could used candidate materials further research.

Withholding alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) irrigations during the summer, a practice referred to as summer irrigation termination (SIT), can conserve substantial amounts of water in long-season desert environments; however, plant mortality associated with SIT may be substantial. Proper timing of re-irrigation is critical for minimizing mortality and yield reductions following SIT. Procedures that...
متن کاملDetection of Norspermidine and Norspermine in Medicago sativa L. (Alfalfa).
Shoot meristem tissues of alfalfa, Medicago sativa L., were found by high performance liquid chromatography analyses to contain the uncommon polyamines, norspermidine and norspermine. The chemical structures of norspermidine and norspermine, purified from alfalfa, were confirmed by comparison of mass spectra with those from authentic standards. The discovery of norspermidine and norspermine in ...

Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is one of the most important perennial forage crops on cultivated fields in the world. Agronomical interests for this crop are based on its numerous advantageous characteristics such as (1) high yield potential and suitable feeding value, (2) different methods of utilisation green mass, hay, silage, greenchop, briquette, pellets, etc., (3) favourable environmental i...
متن کاملBeta-Amylases from Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) Roots.
Amylase was found in high activity (193 international units per milligram protein) in the tap root of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L. cv. Sonora). The activity was separated by gel filtration chromatography into two fractions with molecular weights of 65,700 (heavy amylase) and 41,700 (light amylase). Activity staining of electrophoretic gels indicated the presence of one isozyme in the heavy amyla...
